Quotas and limits on CloudFerro Cloud

Before creating a project or uploading more container images, you need to check the allowed settings and available storage.

The reference table brings those constraints together so you can choose valid settings and plan capacity. The quota error example shows what happens when an upload would exceed the available space.

Item

Limit

Project storage quota

10-100 GiB, set at creation

Projects per organization

10 by default

Project name

1-255 characters, a-z, 0-9, ., _, -; letter or digit at both ends; no repeated separators

Access token name

1-62 characters, a-z, 0-9, ., _, -; starts with a letter or digit

Access token description

up to 1024 characters

Access token expiry

30-3650 days, or no expiry

Access token scope

one project, all its repositories

Tag retention rules

15 per project

Tag immutability rules

15 per project

Manual scan request (API)

up to 50 artifacts of one repository

Bulk project delete (API)

up to 20 projects

Proxy cache upstreams

Docker Hub, GHCR

Project and token values in the table are accepted ranges; 10 projects per organization is a default. The container image size is described separately as a design target of up to 20 GB per container image, not as a confirmed enforced limit.

Open the project overview and compare Quota used with the configured quota before uploading. GiB is the unit used for project quota; the size target above is stated in GB. Keep the displayed units when comparing values.

When a push would exceed the quota, it fails with:

DENIED: adding 1.0 GiB of storage resource, which when updated to current usage of 9.1 GiB will exceed the configured upper limit of 10.0 GiB.

The check happens after the layer is uploaded, so a large push can upload the whole layer before it is denied. Watch Quota used and free space with tag retention before you reach the limit.
